    Hi all:

I'm still a VMax Owners Association Member, and I will post some queries on their website (www.vmoa.net) and see if I can find out how this was done.

(Also, by the way, the VMax is 1198 cc, NOT 1200 cc, like the ebay poster here says it is....good to know at insurance purchase time!)

Oh, by the way, I can also tell from the images of the bike that the right side of the swingarm (the side opposite of the geared side) is a modification...it's NOT the OEM.

    I`m running a 180 w/the M/S rear wheel.
I had a 190 on it and it rubbed just a little on the shaft side, not enough
to stop it from turning,I prolly could`ve shaved a tad off
with a blade and been fine.
I may look into notching the shaft side to get wider on the rear
tyre as I still get wheel spin in 1st,2nd and 3rd.

Can't seem to drop on any Meanstreak wheels over here in the UK
May have to look at getting one shipped in from abroad :pale:

Harder for me to find than a wheel is a Mean Streak rear brake caliper!
If you're hunting & you find both, snatch 'em up quick!

I've had my MS rear wheel for 2 months now, still searching for a brake.
    :(

Oops, thought you meant the cali holder.

    An `04 Suzuki Marauder M95 VZ1600 is a rebadged
Mean Streak so the parts are the same.

    Mach,
Do you think the rotor/brake caliper from the ZL would fit on the MS wheel?

    Thanks for the tip Bacchus!
After perusing this site: http://www.madmax.com/new360.html I think I've got the general gist of how they're doing it.

I looks like they are using gears to avoid offsetting the rear tire. A driveshaft in the original location, shortened and mated to a gear that turns an outer driveshaft to allow for the fat tire.

    Pretty neat.
