Battery ground location

I was just wondering where the ground lead from the battery goes on some of your bikes. Mine goes from the battery to the motor, just to the right of the crankcase vent if you are sitting on the bike. It's sort of an unsightly location when you have pods and that area is so opened up - so I was just looking for other places to mount it. Thanks. Later.

Found good grounding purposes, you will want it on the engine, preferably on the main part of the block. Where were you thinking of putting it? Something like this that can have an effect on charging and starting ability, go with function over form.

Seeing how I have pods too and will getting the bike ready for spring, I will keep the idea in the back of my head.
