Just adjusted my valves. I am worried about the adjusters staying on. I had to make an adjustment tool from a stamped steel 1/8" boxed end wrench by filing off two of the points but it's not very sturdy and I don't know how close these are to the torque spec. I got them as tight as possible with the home made tool and an 8mm wrench. If I wanted to use locktite, is it neccessary to remove the adjuster and clean off all the oil or is just putting some on the treads above the adjuster good? and do you need loctite specific oil resistant stuff? Any tips/recommendations? Also has anybody found a better adjuster tool for the 600?
