i got an 85 ZL900 for sale for 2800.00 price is negotiable, but will not take less than 2500 because the bike rins like a scalded ape. the bike i am describing is the one pictured in my gallery. the only prob with it is it dont have a speedo/tach and it might need new fibers or the clutch bled. im selling it because i have to have knee surgery done and will no longer be able to ride. if interested in it, give me a call at 765-667-8578. im hoping to get rid of it by saturday at the latest. thanks,

josh

by the way, i am located in fairmount, indiana which is an hour north of indianapolis right off of highway 26

Sorry to hear about the knee surgery. Restoring bikes is great therapy I've heard. Are you going to be done riding forever, or just until you heal up? That would stink man.

Good Luck with your surgery and the sale if that is what you decide to do.

if you enjoy rideing keep the bike! Not all people who had knee surgery have to stop doing the things they love. I have had one knee done and will soon be getting the other done and as of now am still rideing. Yes sometimes it is a pain and i must pass on the bike and take the truck but still get plenty of riding time in

Buy the way some people heal better than others and dont have any problems after the recovery is over

sorry to say, but i think im done riding... this knee surgery is going to cost 15k and i have to come up with the co payment, thats why the bike is going... besides, after all the therapy afterwards, i am not gonna be ready to ride two wheels again. im thinking if i get another bike it will be a goldwing trike or something. this injury stems from a friendly fire accident while i was in iraq and, here it is a year later and two deteriorated knees... and i had to come to the decision as to whats more important... a bike or the surgery, and well... i have to have it done, so the bike has to go and yes it will be missed because the Eliminator is truly a bad ass bike.

Damn Josh, I hate to hear that man....thanks for your service. I am just starting to look again, and I can't beleive how many of these great bikes have stayed right here in my back yard, cause I hardly ever see them. I will keep yours in mind while looking. I'm in Cicero, just a short drive away...
