Smoking *cough cough

Most of you guys have been following my work so I won't give a history. I'd like ideas on why the bike is smoking so much as startup and when you get on it.

Is the bike running to rich? Would a video help? Could this be a problem with the split rubber hose coming off the top of the valve cover?

I do not believe it was doing this BEFORE the carbs were done or before the valves even. I do NOT believe that the smoke is oil related.

My brother thinks I'm in denial and that the smoke is blue.

Blue would seem to suggest oil is getting somewhere it shouldn't?
Have you noticed a drop in your engine oil level?
