Had a great run yesterday. My wife and I, my other ZL1000 buddy, Bob and a few other friends had an awesome day of riding yesterday. We took many a back road to head down to Wildwood, NJ for the Spring edition of thei bi-annual "Roar to the Shore" event.

My wife's first long ride ever & her first time riding to a show on her own. We rode about 225 miles yesterday & had a great time on the roads.

Lined up in front of my house:

Seems we skipped Spring here in Jersey! It was 94º's this weekend! I'm not complaining, but man... it was HOT out there. LOL

Glad you guys had a safe ride! Thanks for sharing with us!
First morning of sunshine in Minn. This week so will get the 1K out for a ride but won't be more than a tank of fuel! 63 for a high so quit complaining about the heat! 555

Cuz my wife was following on her, I had to tone down my riding style - the bonus was that I went 130 miles on a tank before filling up and probably had enough gas to get me nearer to 150 miles. I'd say a tankful would be a pretty decent ride! :headbang:

Hey, I'm not complaining about the heat, just stating a fact. It went from 60's one day right into the 90's. Nothing like 'easing' into it! LOL.

I took a ride Monday night also. My buddy missed the Wildwood ride, but he more than made up for it when picking our route:
Cherry Hill to Lambertville to Frenchtown, across the state to Woodbridge. LOL! Then blasted down the NJTP to get back home.
