Seems like a lot of loot for an extra 10mm over the 190's that have been fitted. At least for me it does.

For $6k, and all the first place finishes, you think there would be a cover on the fork air valve. I would like to see what it took to fit the 200 rear tire.

It most likely doesn't feel any different at high speeds, but I can tell you that when I just went from a 190 to a 200 rear on my Busa I felt a considerable difference on the twisties. Going up 3 sizes from stock will make a huge handling difference....especially on an Eliminator. My buddy has a pro-street chopper that has a 260 rear and when I drive it , it handles like a prostock drag bike. If you need to make a quick or even a sweeping high speed road you feel the front going into the turn, but the rear is fighting you all the time. Not very confidence inspiring.

probably a radial on the front too....

don't see 6g's there myself ? the bike is not all that clean and all it has is the back rim changed out .
the wife's Mean Streak has won a lot of shows around here.
so if you go to a few small bike nights / car show and they pick your bike as best of class then you have a show bike ? ? ? if so we have a few "SHOW" bike's...LOL...

I know this question has come up before, but what is the largest tire that will fit a stock ZL900/ZL1000 rim and still have clearance?? Also, didn't someone mention increasing their rear tire size by using a MeanStreak rear wheel assembly??

180 is the largest rear tire for without modifying.

Funny thing is, each tire company will have width variances even with the same size. A 190 may only be 4 mm more than a 180 from another company. It sounds like crazy . but I have even seen more than that on the same size tires. But as a rule I would go with a 180 like Bucchus stated, as the safe largest tire.

Actually, what class is it that you are putting the zl1000 in? Is it in the sport bike class or the cruiser class? If it isn't in either of these, maybe its in one of it's own? Sure would be hard to win best of class in that category, especially if another Eliminator showed up!.:rotf:
