I couldn't post in the tech library section so thought this might be the place. Anyway, I was looking at the "ZL900/ZL1000 Thermostat" thread and have searched all the local shops with that part number and even tried it on Stant's site and it can't be found - at least not around here - just wondering if anyone knows how to find out if it's still made or if the part number has changed?

I'm having the same problem with oil filters - the Pure One/Purolator ML16812 - can't seem to find that number anywhere. Any ideas?

Just thought I would put this here as I didn't know if one of you "site gods" was in charge of keeping tabs on outdated part numbers?

Thanks. Later.

Yeah Mark, the stant 29368.

Kawboy - you da man. That's a slick set up - very cool way of doing the chart and replacement parts - all in one location - very nice thing they have going there - easy to find and read and understand. I searched the cog forums but didn't find anything. That chart is going to be very helpful - it's now in my favorites. Looks like Pep Boys is the only one that carries the stant 29368 - the one auto shop that is not in my city. Hope they don't mind - here's what they say works as replacements for our thermostats. Not sure what the "boxed" and 'blister pack" difference would be. I still haven't found a shop that sells the Purolator, but maybe when I make the trip to PepBoys they will have it too. Or I may just make a trip to Napa - it's in a closer city to me. Thanks a bunch guys. Later.

Jarney the blister pack is just different packaging.

That is a really useful link for us. Need to have it in the links section and the tech section

Yeah, definitely useful link. Maybe this winter - or if things slow down, somebody can start a spreadsheet like that for us. I'm still trying to get a grasp on what's still available and what's not and how to figure it out using Kaw.com.

Those t-stats are a pain to find - none of the local shops had them in stock so I wound up ordering a couple. Same with some of the oil filters - local shops just don't seem to keep those numbers in stock.

Probably just the shiiiiiit hole I live in......hahaha. Thanks guys. Later.
