zl 400 ignition coil wiring

wonder if anyone can help me out with some advice..
re the ignition coils.. the wiring diagram on the down load manual on page 15-6 .( so standing behind the bike looking forward)shows from the
left coil 1st ..shows red wire then green wire ..2nd coil shows red wire then black wire...which would appear to be correct as under each coil there is a + symbol which matches up with the red wires!
BUT....
on the electrical system page 15-5
the picture of the ignition coil installation notes shows it as... 1st coil black wire then red wire..2nd coil.. green wire then red wire...
WHICH IS DIFFERENT TO THE WIRING DIAGRAM..

do you know the correct sequence?
also is the picture on that same page correct for the spark plug connection
a to no1
b to no2
c to no3
d to no4

bikes turning over ..but thats all so would like to get this sorted first.. before trying anyyhing else..
any help... would be great..

Left and right coil Red is positive.

Left coil Black is negative.

Right coil green is negative.

Left coil does #1-#4 spark plugs

Right coil does #2-#3 spark plugs

great many thanks... whoever had bike before me had the coils on upside down.. . turned them over now so neg & pos visible... and yes bike has now fired up!
all be it revining at 5000rpm, with choke off... gonna check the idle n see if thas it..
