Hey guys, they are having the AMA Dragbike series at Norwalk, OH 10/10-10/11. I plan on attending for sure on 10/10 and maybe even on the 11th.
I was wanting to have another maintenance day at my place but won't be ready by then. Anyone who wants to come out to OH and attend the event with me/us is more than welcome. I can also offer my home to anyone staying the weekend or night and there are plenty of hotels in the area too. Sorry for the short notice!

Mark, As I stated on the phone the only day that I could really come out was Friday and have to leave on saturday. Well now that won't even work because I made arrangements to pick up my new ride on Friday. Sorry

Am bringing out a ZL1k in the back of the Silverado and will be there Friday afternoon for the weekend........heading back on Sunday morning. Good luck with the new Voyager Martin and Enjoy!!!:hello:

well, i'm back from Norwalk, & i really had a great time ! it was great to meet up with my good friends zlmark & marcus again. what a fun day ! i also had the honor of meeting one of my favorite motorcycle drag racers " Rickey Gadson" ( still have to meet my other favorite, " Dale Walker " hopefully someday !) Rickey is such a cool guy, he took time out of his busy schedule to hang out with me & chat for a bit. this is a day i will not forget anytime soon !!!!

Yea Chris it was real good to see you and Marty once again!

Just helped Markus down the road around 11:30am this morning. I hope he didn't get to swim in Lake Erie before he got headed in the right direction :laughing7:

I really didn't plan on making a weekend out of it but glad I did. The spectator turnout wasn't good at all, probably due to the frigid temps were having up here in North/Northeast OH. I really wouldn't be surprised if they move this event up to sept next year,,,,and I hope they do! Mark and I observed that only the true AMA Dragbike die-hards were in attendance!

Those Top Fuel Funny Bikes are the baddest bikes on the planet period. They had Larry McBride (http://www.larrymcbride.com/) and Geoff Pollard (http://www.pollardnitrosports.com/) in attendance This is the first time I have seen T/F Funny bikes and man I'm impressed....1600 HP!!!! I'll be uploading a couple videos soon here.... Meanwhile here's some pics...Couple of my favorites was the 1180cc Fazer and the CB1100F :thumbsup:

Sorry about not posting up last night when I got in but was just too busy. What an AWESOME weekend this was guys!!!! If you missed it, you missed something truly special!!! First, let me thank ZLMark for the invite and the down home hospitality once again!:headbang: You are one gracious host my friend and I thank you! Was great to see Chris and Marty once again as well......wished ya'll could've stayed longer and been there Sunday too. I agree with you Chris.......it was really cool of Ricky Gadson to take time out of his busy schedule to meet and talk with us when he had so much going on!! I thought I was in Heaven amongst all the dragbikes of differant classes and configurations.......it was easy for me to see where the differant styling cues came from for our Eliminators!!
Let me say that if you've never experianced Nitro burning Top Fuel Funny Bike before, it must be on the bucket list!!! The wildest thing on two wheels bar none!! On one particular run, I was standing about thirty feet away from the starting line and when they nailed it, it felt just like an earthquake under my feet till they got a hundred feet down the track. Like Mark said, They're the baddest bikes on the planet!!!!!
