ZL600A wiring diagram

Hi great new site and I hope someone out there can help with our problem here in the UK. We recently purchased a 1986 ZL600A [American import ] it has now developed an electrical fault.The bike will not fireup and there is no headlight, all other lights work OK.It will start by short circuiting the starter relay and we fitted a new junction box but this has not cured the problem.Any ideas and has anyone got a wiring diagram for a ZL600A?

thanks for the information- I will wait for a wet afternoon to download the data- bike going [and still not going] but the weather has been good so we enjoy whilst we can and will use the winter months to investigate the pesky problem further.
