Was just cruising the site for the first time and saw pics of a 750 - i'm not at all familiar with an eli 750 but it looks just like a 900.

When were they built? Any other info? Might want to try to find one to replace my wife's 600.

Hi all,
i'm ready to be corrected but i think the 750 is a Jap home market model (i beleive it was made in respect of their licensing laws) by taking the eli
900 and putting a 750 motor in it (like they did with the gpz900r to make the gpz750r)
mine i believe is a 1986 model so ithink the dates tie in with the 900.

ZL 750

Engine 4-stroke, DOHC, in-line four, 16 valves
Displacement 748 cc
Max.horsepower 77 PS @9000 rpm
Max.torque 6.7 kg-m @7000rpm
Carburetors Keihin CVK 32 x 4
Tire, front 100/90-18 56H
Tire, rear 160/80-15 74H
Brakes, front/rear Double disc/Single disc
Seat height 745 mm
Dry weight 238 kg
Fuel capacity 11.0 L
Wheelbase 1595 mm

I've had mine for about 5 years now and am still loving it,

the wife has ridden it a few times but prefers her 600b1 as she finds it more managable.

So it`s an underpowered 900?

i get your point with the 750 being a 900 with a smaller motor, but i see it as a great looking good performing 750, a decent bike in its own right 8)
