Bike season will end in a few weeks  , Eli will go into the garage for winter, and its time to screw again. Of course, any ZL is a beauty, but i think, for example a 4-1-exhaust would look nice. The problem is, special parts for this bike are rare like rain in desert. So i would be thankfull for any reference.
regards ( i`m learning  )

only exhaust i've seen that looks decent is the D&D. all others just don't fit with the footpeg brackets.
I like the original exhaust. I want to gut my collector or replace it with some type of piping.

I like the holeshot slipons also, the only problem would be to get it street legal here in germany. (f... tüv!)
Diversification of the footpeg brackets would bring the option to get the original mufflers some inches higher. I like that look, but don`t know how to realize that. (I`m a technical fumbler  )
Perhaps there`s anybody who built such parts and can give me a hint?

If the stinkin` frame downtubes weren`t blocking
#1 and #4 exhaust ports pretty much any big-bore
Kaw pipes would fit,my ZL headpipes bolted right up
to the ZRX 12 motor with the addition of some spacers
around the collars.
And if ya P-coat the rear peg brackets black they blend
in and don`t look so bad.

Think i found what i searched here:
http://motorradveredelung.de/green_monster_spezial.htm
I sent a request there, hope the parts are available.
Thats seems to be a way to use the original pipes and get a modern, agressive look without spending lots of money. And generally, it`s legal.
My money is deserved too hard to pay it for stickers.
But, at first, thanks for your readiness to help. I will refer here, if something is going on.
Regards
Jonny
