I buggered up 2 of my bearings in the bevel case and have to replace them.

Part numbers are: 92116 and 92116A on the parts diagram. I had to impact the bolt (part# 92001) off to get the bearings out and neeed to know if this bolt has to be impacted back on or is there a tourqe spec on this?

The problem came up when I had the case sand blasted and the guys doing it busted the seal I had put on it and the blasting material got inside the bearings. When I tried to clean up the mess inside the gears would not move at all so I had to take it apart.

The bearings and all seals on this were cheap so not a worry that way but does the bolt impact on or not?

Thanks for any help you can supply.

Cheers,

SD

SDYou'll notice it has a torque spec and a "S" meaning to stake the bolt.

Thanks Mark and now the next question is how to lock up the gear so you can tighten T8 To 87 foot pounds? I gather you mean staking as locking the position so it doesn't come loose.

Thanks again,

SD
