Does anyone have any idea how hot the exhaust pipes get on the ZL900 as they exit the motor? I am just curious because I am going to paint the exhaust, and I need to know how 'hot' the paint needs to be, there is a cool wrinkle finish black, but is only good to 600 degrees, if I have to go above that, it has to be 1200 degree paint (black).
If anyone knows, lemme know. :?: :?: :?:
Thanks in advance!

Seriously tho, do you really want to try to keep a wrinkle coat looking clean? Seems to me it will pick up and hold on to any kind of dirt it can get ahold of...

I dunno, just the frame, with the rest being smooth and the tank & stuff real glossy would look cool, I think, the contrast...Just a thought.

600 degrees peak or 600 degrees constant?

Should work. It may start to burn right at the head, but I would think it would last at least a year or more.
