what fits and what doesnt

I want to ask, does anyone know what part bikes can be viable for things like radiators, gas caps, exhaust/mufflers.... front ends IE: forks, calipers....
I know GPZ engine blocks are viable, for misc. parts but what about the concourse?....
I have found a good set of black fork legs that I would like to put on my ZL..
my upper fork tubes are pitted pretty badly also, I need a gas gap that has all the parts on it,......I hate the supertrapp mufflers I have, I found a nice set of concourse ones stokers that would look alot better than the beat up ones currently in use.
