I have a friend here his brother just started his business building custom aluminum swingarms for the warriors. He is looking to branch out a little and do other bikes, he mentioned the vtx which is shaft drive. I'm gonna get with him next time he is over here and have him look closely at my bike to see what he thinks. Is there anyone here interested in this type of mod?
This is not one of his but it's a shaftie! :D

The wheels would be cool if you could stil find them. they are Jardine Raptors and they used to make them in 15", 16", and 17" for the Vulcans
If he were to make a new swing arm,Could it be a few inches longer, and maybe a bit wider.Just some thoughts.

Yep I'm interested but I would want him to make one to fit a 2002 Concours so I can lighten my bike without any further major mods. It'd be a direct bolt-in. - hawgnutts

Yes, hopefully he can do the extended and wider option. My friend is getting one for his busa because another friend got it and it changed the whole look of his bike, longer, lower, just down right mean. A stretched ZL would look bad ass.

Im game... put me on the list and let me know if you need a loose swingarm to help make this happen. I have one in a box on the shelf...
extending the swingarm will also require an extended drive shaft

Boy this is an old thread! Months after I founded the zl-oa!
I'll talk to justin again and see how he feels about doing this.
Do you think a 4" extension will help me keep the front end down on launch at the track???.....Sounds like a question for DW
