We are set for the second weekend in May? [Saturday 19th] that allows us to push forward one week and not mess up any holliday plans some may have.
Departure time: Leave Port Angles @ 10:00 return to Port Angeles at 2-3pm ~?~ alowing time for a nice ride up here, and time for you "east-side-folks" to catch ferries as needed and be home for dinner.

Hey y'all - Rick was trying to give directions to my house - mine are better - with landmarks.

When you get near Port Angeles you will pass a State truck scale on your right at about that point you need to shift over to the left lane - coming up on your left you will see a Toyota dealership and just past that Deer Park cinema - take a left between the two you are on Deer Park RD.

That first stretch of Deer Park is 35 mph and there is a local deputy dog that loves to give out tickets - don't go over 40!

My place is 1.5 miles up Deer Park from the highway - landmarks - water should be behind you and mountains in front of you if there not do a 180 -
about a mile up Deer Park on your right you'll see and hear an off road dirt bike track - just a bit further on your left you'll see an off white two story house sitting near the road - my driveway is on the same side of the road immediately past the white house - mine is the split level green job about 100 yards from the road - couple of sheds - 20' cuddy cabin boat - blue ford truck - white Jeep Cherokee - travel trailer and a couple of fat boys playing with motrcycles.

Some great rides here and anyone who wants to do a 2 day'r is MORE than welcome to stay - got 2 acres fenced and nice grass for tenting - travel trailer will sleep 3 couples or singles - boat will sleep 2 - have a guest bedroom with a queen bed - couch - lazy boy's and floor space

Have a LARGE hot tub to work out the kinks from long rides and a big bbq grill.

Call with any questions (360)417-2681

here is a basic map of the ride, the blue line is the basic ride, the red lines are "Optional". The red line on the west side takes you to the end of the world, or the furthest point ya can go North-West in continental USA

If any of you have the time and the weather cooperates we could go down the coast a bit to Klalloch beach - then of course there's some great back road (asphalt) up the Hoh river valley they film alot of "Nam films there beautiful ride - I've lived here since 82' and scoped most of the rides out and there isn't a bad one and so many it would take an entire season of hard riding to hit them all just once.....

That date might work. I don't think I have anything going on that weekend so I might head up there for the day.

For those of you that can't make it, that part of the state is one of the best for riding. Mile after mile of twisties that will wear you out. Great scenery, very rugged and primitive coastline. Hwy 112 that splits off from 101 is fantastic. Was there on a bike some 20 years ago and we drove up the the Tatoosh Island lookout about 4 years ago. I will get a hold you guys when the date gets closer.
