MSN weather is calling for 66 and fair skies on Sat. I am waiting for an answer today if I got my "on call" covered or not. I may chance it either way, we shall see.

Any way, I just need to drop the Blvd off at the stealer. It needs its first service, I doubt they will really measure the vavle clearance, but at least they can't admit it wasn't done. I should have it dropped off at 9 A.M.

I think by the looks of the forecast we should try to meet up there around 11 or Noon. I got work covered till 7 or 8, after that its just hoping I don't get called!

Yea i might be running a little later. Forgot about Mothers Day. Tonights task, change oil. My intentions were to ride the xvz until the zl was ready but oh well. I haven't put the yammer in the papers yet. I want the zl1000, but not sure if i'm ready to "take it on". Gotta decide by monday.

I wouldn't call this the first zl-oa meet. that will be ohio bike week then mid ohio. Oh yea and pics of course............... :victory:

Well guys, I had fun riding today. I think I proved I don't know the area very well. Oh well, will get the pictures posted.

Also double checked. Had to throw that tire pressure gauge away. So much for digital accuracy. Glad you guys noticed the rear tire was riding low.

I had fun too. The bikes were running great. I manged to get 39.85 mph from one of my tanks. I'm sure that dropped off on the way home. Noticed on the way home it said 59 degrees. I was feeling a little refridgerated doing 75mph down rt18 all the way home.

Rod it was great to meet you. We will have to ride again soon. You're always welcome to stop by whenever you feel like making a trip.

Jeff I hope to get the airbox and boots on the eliminator soon. I can tell you're just itching for a proper zl900/zl1000 showdown :toothy7:

HEY GUYS ! sorry i missed the trip ! :pale: looks like you had some fun ! i really wanted to be there, so, i am a little upset that i could'nt make it !, but honestly, i did have a good day ! my daughter's soccer team lost, but my daughter really got in there & kicked ass !, so i'm proud of her, then at her horse riding meet, the coach started her on three ft. jumps, & she did it this week without taking down any poles, & she improved her time racing around the barrels. " not bad for a seven year old ! " again, i wish i were with you guys on this trip, but, seeing my daughter's smiling face, & spending quality time with her is definately worth the sacrifice !!!! :D so, if i don't get a chance to meet up with you guys in the next few weeks, i'll see you all at " BIKE WEEK " CHRIS

Mark, Rod and I were trying to decide what day to go to bike week. If you have any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated!

jeff, i'm kinda clueless about the events at bike week . never been to it before ! the only rally's i've ever been to is sturgis, & daytona, but that was years ago ! so, i'm kinda new to the whole thing again. i'm more excited about meeting up with my zl bro's than the actual events !!! i figure that any day of bike week is going to be a great time. need some feedback from you guys on what you all would be interested in ! i do know that most every day they will have bike shows, & rides , so, i'm open myself to suggestions !

by the way, if you guys make it to the glass city, i think i can come up with a nice ride for all of us ! lots of curvey roads, & historical sites along this ride ! let me know if you may be interested sometime . CHRIS
