I just wanted to throw up a few pics of yesterdays ride. We left at 10:15am to meet up with wuputt and arrived home at 8:15pm last night. We covered 282 miles. Stopping every <70 miles to fuel up the zl900 which yesterdays best i might add was 41.06mpg! Needless to say my ass is sore! Rode through amish country, Kidron (ohio)and Mount Eaton following RT 250 past historical towns such as Schoenbrunn (http://ohsweb.ohiohistory.org/places/ne06/index.shtml) and Lake Tappan and twisted our way to the Ohio river. Next we headed north on RT 7 following the Ohio River to RT 45 and then stopping in Lisbon for a few beers and some dinner at Bad Frogs (http://www.badfrogs.com/index2.html) which is a neat little building with some history. From Lisbon we rode into the sunset as the sunburn on my face reflects today! What a great day to ride, weather was perfect, not too hot, not too cool.

That was a great day! I really enjoyed the ride, and the company! Yes, my butt was a bit sore too, but that didn't stop me from getting up this morning and rode in the local Labor Day Parade! We had 36 bikes, putting down mainstreet (mostly Hardleys) revving up the motors and honking the horns for all the little kids and their mothers. My horns are fried and I couldn't hear my motor so I just smiled and thanked god my ZL is water cooled!!

Gotta work, bro.....I'm prolly screwed for this year, and with the baby coming and all, I got rooms to paint and alot of money to spend.....I am looking real forward to MidOhio next summer though.
