Chat room problems? [Archive]

Is there a problem with the chat room Mark? A couple of times over the last week or two, I've gone into the chatroom because the forum shows someone in it. When I get in there the chatroom shows them in there, but they don't respond. And when I've then looked at the forum again it only shows me chatting in there, yet they're still showing in the chat.

Or is it just these work computers?

There are some bugs, of course. One of them is logging out from the chat room. If you close the browser it leaves you logged in. If you hit the x in the upper corner of the chat it will log you out. IE7 tabs seem to work correctly with the chat, close a tab and see the loggin out of chat pop-up. Also some browser don't support tabbed browsing or are set to use tabs which effects this.

Funny you mention this, I would go in because i seen someone there, but as soon as I entered they would leave, I'm thinking to myself WTF? I finally realised they weren't actually there :rotf:

Yeah, that's exactly what happened to me the first couple of times, I thought no-one wanted to talk to me.

managed a chat last night with acp

I dropped in there on Sat. Moab, Lowlife, ACP and Snakedoctor were in there....
