Show was decent. It was good to see everyone. We talked to couple Senior Kawasaki Reps. Sounds like Kawasaki needs to hear some input on new models besides what the magazines have to say....time for bed more later!

They say ohio is one of the larger shows in the states, but not large enough to get some prototypes? No V-Max prototype on display like they had last year and recently in Tokyo. The Yamaha reps laughed when I asked them about the next V-Max saying usually the customers find out the info before they do!

We made two good contacts at the show. The one has been with Kawaski since '86 and the other since sometime in the 70's? Both of them will be at MO-08. Thats where we need to make our presence known! We chatted with the reps about ZL's, ZRX's, Zephyr's, ZG1000, and The Voyager. He made it sound like the magazines are responsible for the models offered, next to sales #'s. He also mentioned that if they brought back any of the aforementioned models the magazines would just rip them apart. Isn't that the truth! They said Kawasaki does take into consideration what the customers have to say. Once I find the best way to contact them I'll forward the info on to everyone. It might help to send them a letter from us as a club, giving some input!

The show is rollin to Minneapolis next,, so it's your turn MN members!

THERE`S A COUPLE OF GUYS IN THE ROCKET OWNERS CLUB GOT TRIKE ,VERY NICE BUT START AT ABOUT £30,000 CHECK OUT THE GRINALL TRIKE SITE,LOADS OF VARIATIONS EVEN MAKE A NICE BMW(CAN`T BELIVE I SAID THAT)THERE WAS A GUY IN OUR CLUB SELLING A COMBINATION OUTFIT REALLY WELL ENGINEERED FRONT END ASWELL IF YOU LIKE THAT KINDA THING.THANKS FOR THE PICS FELLAS LOOKS LIKE A GOOD SHOW. Bottom line of the show for me was, If money wasn't an issue, would I buy a new bike?
I like the new Connie but I would be kicking myself in the arse for kicking the bags or the seat every time I mounted it!
I have to say, I would be looking for some more "classic" bikes. I would rather have a couple more old Kaws!
Not that I wouldn't ride any of the bikes I saw, just wouldn't spend my hard earned on em!
