Had a bit of spare time before heading out to work this morning so I went out to the shed to give the ZL a start. It barely did, barely. Sounded like petrol starvation or something, so I decided the only thing to do was to, go into work, finsh up what I had to do and take a half day.
It was a beautiful day here today. The ol' girl needed a good run. Brought my camera with me.....

Once the sun started to go down, bloody hell did it get cold.. I bought myself a new flip front helmet last week and was eager to try it out, a caberg justissimo. And thank god I wore the new lid today, cant imagine what it would have been like if I was wearing my half shell in that cold..!!! Even well wrapped up, the cold was still like daggers out there...
Sitting here now with a glass of brandy tryin to warm myself up again... Roll on the summer!!! :blob5:

Once again Blag, fantastic views. Can't wait to get over there, hopefully it'll be a bit warmer though.

My bike doesn't really like starting in the cold. And if it's too cold then the carbs like to start freezing as well. My Dad thought I had messed the bike up when I pulled up and it stalled because the carbs were freezing. I left it a couple of minutes for the heat to get into them, then started it up to prove to him that it was because the carbs were cold. Started straight away on all 4.

i can relate to being a little cold ! dad, & i, decided to go for a ride yesterday, but instead of riding one of my other bikes, i brought Eleanor outta the house ! :D we went riding for about an hour or so, ( 42deg. F )
frooze a little bit, but the ride was worth it !!! especially since i left a patch of burnt rubber about 25 ft. when taking off from a stoplight ! :D we had lots of fun, came home, put the bikes away (Eleanor back in house) & sat in front of the fireplace to warm up. what a great day !

nice pics. blag ! hope your cold ride helped keep the cold weather demons from winning over your mind ! CHRIS

I'm envious of your ability to spend time and ride with your Dad Chris, thats really cool.

I hope your cold ride helped keep the cold weather demons from winning over your mind ! CHRIS

Yeah, got my "fix" today. Todays ride'll keep me going for another while!!
We had bad storms here all last week, clear sky today with heavy ice due overnight and back to heavy rain for the weekend..... Time to roll the ZL back into her corner for another bit......
