hey guys,

dont forget they are ZL friendly at this show !!!

If you got a nice clean one they will let you display your bike and your entry is FREE!

So anybody who can .....Represent the ZL Brotherhood!

There are (IMHO) two types of people out there .... crazy eliminator freaks, like you guys, and those that say...ZL do you mean Z1 ??? I never heard of a ZL???

we got to bring up the public awarness of these classic BA rides. When I had mine on display at the show, they definately got alot of interest, and people asked alot of questions. The average guy out there is just totally unaware of what the big Eliminators are all about.

also keep in mind that a strong showing of these bikes and the interest generated by people viewing them will be noticed by the folks that are at all of these shows, like the Motorcycle museum guys, and maybe even the Kaw factory people.

When I was there I grabed up a kaw. rep and broght him over to my bikes and we talked a while about kaw. no longer making a product for a guy like myself, and like you guys.... a serious power cruser. the rep said the mean streak is going to be discontinued.... with that bike out of production.. what does kaw have??? not that the meanstreak was mean... but it fit the power cruser image...the rep tried to convince me that the vulcan 2000 was a power cruiser, I told him that if it could beat my ZL1000 in the 1/4 mile I would trade up today..... I still have my ZL1000, and they still have the vulcan 2000...lol

maybe if other guys represent, and pull a kaw rep over to see what a real BA Kaw power cuiser looks like, the message may begin to sink in. Right now it looks like Kaw is planning on producinig two kinds of bikes, sport bikes, and jap hogs. I asked why Kaw, with such an amazing drag race heritage doesnt make anything that fills that niche anymore....kaw used to be the one to beat..now... Idunno

I would encourage all members who attend to ask the Kaw guys why they dont kill the 125 eliminator... its embarassing.. it aint gonna eliminate anyone...maybe a kid on a skateboard ! It cant live up to the name.... and re-introduce a modern big ZL to establish kaw as the industry leader in the serious performance cuiser market.

the new max is no longer modifyable to be a cruiser.. its a naked sportbike now. with the max out of the performance oriented cruser market what's the competition??? the warrior?? my zl simply destroyed the warrior at the track....I crushed 'em.... and it felt good..lol Seems like there is a wide open market with no real competition and a long history of sales going back over 20 years. we just need to establish interest and potential sales to the people that make the decisions and that means people have got to speak up about it.
If enough people ask the same questions... somebody might just say...hummmph...there is a pattern here!
