Re: One of th most rebuild zl900"s
Hey zlrx, looking good
Did you check the deck height when you put the wiseco piston in it?
I put my cams at 102/105, but as you might remember, i was having some fuel or ignition issues, and then all of the sudden it was winter , and everything came to a halt, and still a month or two till i can get everything running smooth, but hopefully some new coils and zx11 carbs should get me running
Looking forward to some video

Re: One of th most rebuild zl900"s
SWEET ASS BIKE !! Brings to mind a ?or to what is the the biggest head you can put on the ZL1. 1200 will fit ? My brother says camming will only get 2-4 hp and i believe at 800 bks for cams is just insane. (Kawi) I am a firm believer if it aint broke don't fix it. BUT, speed is to adictting . This wat i have in my motor, stage 2 carb kit , timming advr, hole shot exaust, (Dale's) and me. Any other low cost twiking that i could do ? Thanks Billy. OH yeah have you done dyno yet ?

Re: One of the most rebuild zl900"s
Of course i looked at the piston height clearance.I have a CR o 12:1 that means only the headgasket is the space between piston and head.
And cam timing is not expensive it only cost you adjustable cam sprockets and they cost $45,00 .
Special cams can be expensive but the will give you much more hp 10-15HP
In mine case I have zx11 cams ($50 ebay)and there are no faster cams if you what to keep it all driveable. With fast cams (hotcams) you get more toppower but loose bottompower. The zx11 cams are something inbetween

I apply more pictures today
