Re: My rejuvenated ZL1000
I was only kidding, the gas pump had a huge sign about lead additives, I haven't had the bike at a drag strip since the early 90's. We had a local track called Westhampton Dragway, it is now the home of some 'nice' cookie- cutter condos.

Re: My rejuvenated ZL1000
They are not much different, the angle of the grips is a little straighter that the stock ones. Overall they are about the same as stock, the 2 piece build of the bar is misleading, i thought the were narrower than stock but they are actually about the same maybe a touch wider. There is a thread on here with pictures of the two side by side, ZL Mark posted them. There are a lot of pictures of them and discussion in this thread. I think the definitely look great and I can see the guages no problem. The guy who makes them is nice and sent them right away.

Brett - here's some riser blocks that would prolly work with the 900 bars. I would contact the guy and get bolt spacing, etc. He has several different ones listed for various bikes, at different prices, but they may all be the same.

You've done a fabulous job on the face-lift of your long time steed Jim..... A very, very nice job! Keep the fairing.....looks like it belongs to the bike. That's one sweet ride you've got there!

Re: My rejuvenated ZL1000
You bribing my wife... , I can't seem to find out what brand this is or who sells it. I bought it for about 35 dollars on eBay- I think it belonged to a member of this site, I'll have to go through the albums to see if it is in one of the other members pictures. I was looking at the "fly screen" fairings and then I found this one.
