Hi everyone, first post on this site. It looks like there's a ton of very knowledgeable people here on the ZL's and I would like to thank everyone ahead of time for the help. Is there anyone who has removed the tall upright mirrors and mounted them under the bars? I've seen pictures of ZL900's...

Hi guys, I'm so glad to have found this forum. I used to have a 1986 zl600 and after few years dedicated to other things I just bought a 1997 zl600. However, imo the 1986 rear fender assembly was a much better looking one. The 1997 looks really 'soft' if you know what I mean... Anyways...

The problem: I took it out for a ride with my girlfriend, and it performed stellar for 30 miles or so. I drop her off and am on my way home when I realize I've been riding on about a quarter of a tank. So I stop off at the nearest gas station and put about $10 in premium on a whim. This almost...
