Thanks to several of you (Ian and Paulfun, particularly), i was able to change my waterpump a few months ago. Now i have a new problem - a leak from the metal (inlet?) tube where it connects to the pump. I took everything apart and back together - made sure it's all tight, but it still leaks...

I'm not a mechanic by any means but i'm using both service manuals and i'm almost done. Two questions: 1) When reinstalling the new water pump, i did my best to visually align the female shaft on the new pump to the male shaft on the engine, but i'm nervous. Am i safe to assume that if the...
