1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

:hello: Today I rebuilt my friend's boat motor GM carb. His boat is a 1984 Larson Del-Sonic with a 120 HP Mercruiser 4 cyn motor. I used my 1990 Fisher Scientific FS 60H Ultra Sonic Cleaner using a 2 step method. First I used Sharpertek SC20 carb cleaner/degreaser for 1 hour at 165* F. Then I used Sharpertek SC 52 cleaner for 10 min. I swapped out all the hardware with SS cap screws. Total time spent 6 hours. :hello: The SC 52 cleaner is a brightener. If you leave parts in the Ultra Sonic Cleaner to long they will get slimey & dull up.
