Hey Rossco,
no complaints here mate - just grateful you are able to delete the crap whenever you can.
Keep up the fight mate

Do you need any help with this Ross? I have the time now to get a bit more involved.

KK ... thanks for the offer mate :D 'tis all good here but some extra moderators certainly wouldn't go astray. Trouble is, as moderators, all we can do is delete offending posts. With over 190 new "members" in the last month, most of which are likely spammers, what's needed is a "cull" of the memberlist. That requires Admin privileges which moderators don't have.

There are a few relatively simple things that can be done at "Admin" level to help keep the spammers under better control. Unfortunately these things haven't been implemented to date.

Am going to PM Ethan with a couple of ideas and see what happens, I don't have an email contact for him. I've found a modification on the main phpBB site/forum that allows moderators to do what's required, without allowing full Admin control nor relinquishing any other Admin control of the forum, so that may help. That is if we can get it implemented.

Anyways, we'll see how we go I guess ...

Cheers,
Ross
