Headlight dash lamp ?

I have a 85' ZL900. Today, after bike sitting about a week, the headlamp light came on. It will go off when I put the high beam on but comes back on when switched back to low beam. The headlight seems to be working in both high and low beam. The low beam does seem a bit less brighter than normal. Any Ideas?

Cheap enough to replace the headlight and see if that fixes the problem, could also be the headlight connection, clean it when you replace the headlight, and let us know.

I had the same issue 2 years ago. Replaced the bulb, and problem gone!!

You really don't have to spend the Kawi prices on a bulb. You should be able to get any H4 (I believe that is the size / style) halogen to work. Currently, I have a Sylvania SilverSar in mine, and although a little pricey as well, it is much brighter and whiter than the OEM bulb, and readily available at major auto parts stores!!!

Through a new bulb in her today(from Dennis Kirk $6) , works like a charm.

Can't make it, I'm working, it's annoying because I wanted to take my ZL900 on the strip before I got the exhausts and jetting done, so I could compare the difference.
