Looking for a Backrest

Hi Guys;

As you are probably aware,
there were only a few ZL9 s, sent up North here to Canada, and even fewer to the East Coast.

I am missing the Grab Bar behind the seat. A new one is
$270.00 Canadian.

Do you suppose one of you may be interested in parting with an extra one that you may have laying around, for a reasonable price.

I thought I had one locally for $50.00 but it has never materialized.

My Eli looks naked without it. Just 2 holes where its supposed to be.

Got one...no two...I'll send you pics...too bad you didn't post this a few days ago...my mother and father-in-law just left Friday morning for Kentville!! My wifes side is from there...hope yer not as dumb!!

If you decide not to go with what Gary has, you can try a custom grab bar from Rick Maker. He does great work, and custom engraving as well!!

Unfortunately, I am really looking for the . . .
OEM backrest / grab bar.

Let me know if any of you guys have an extra one lying around.
 
I would try the grab bar that Rick Maker custom makes out of Billet Aluminum. He should be available on this site. Not sure of $$$, but if you dont need the "original" item, the one he makes is awesome looking, low profile, and can engrave anything you want (within reason) on the back of it. I may have a pic of it on my bike. Let me know if you want me to forward to you, and your e-mail address.
