:hello: I bought a new stero system for my 2002 NISSAN Frontier XE 4x4 four door. I got the complete system from CRUTCHFIRLD out of VA. They have the very best TECH support. My very first system I bought from CRUTCHFIELD was way back in 1976. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-O69HE...7736&clickId=3990812379&&pjClickID=3990812379 . Component list and prices. (1.) PIONEER CD RS receiver Model # FH-S722BS. $197. (2.) PIONEER four channel AMP model # GM-A4704. $170. (3.) SOUND ORDNANCE 8" powered subwoofer model # B-8PTD. $170. (4.) Two sets of SONY speakers. $100. (5.) Two sets of crutchfield CK 10 power wiring kits. $80.50. (6.) Three sets of T SPEC two channel RCA 6 ft cables. $40. (7.) One EPX 9-wire ultra flex receiver/amp/speaker wire. Time spent installing my new stero system was 8 hours or so. I mounted the AMP under the drivers seat and the subwoofer went under the passangers seat. The main power for the two units under the seats run directly to the battery using two red 10 gauge wires with 4 amp inline fuses that are mounted under the hood on the right fender near the battery. System sounds great. 20220529_144213[1].jpg 20220611_154538[1].jpg 20220611_160621[1].jpg 20220611_155103[1].jpg 20220529_155216[1].jpg 20220603_141222[1].jpg 20220611_111546[1].jpg 20220611_112434[1].jpg 20220611_161310[1].jpg 20220529_145503[1].jpg 20220529_142915[1].jpg 20220529_145846[1].jpg 20220610_081706[1].jpg 20220610_081306[1].jpg 20220611_154445[1].jpg 20220611_155645[1].jpg

Crutchfield has a well-deserved rep for being very customer friendly. I lost interest in car stereos though once I had a house where I could jam. Did your wife kick you out RJ? Do you spend a lot of time in your truck?

I find the stock stereos in the Silverado and the SRX pretty damned good and louder than I need these days. If I really want to get into some music I prefer my garage Frankenstein system built from garage sale acquisitions. Something about a good garage stereo that can't be beat. Really booms. Maybe it's because of the old big woofer speaks that I have in the upper corners.

:hello: You ask some really off the wall questions. :laughing7:. I need more power for my trucks stereo so I don't have to here that hiphop/rap crap next to me.
