Carb syncing tool

*snap* speedo

Streets are tough in Chciago. While riding down a particularly rough one.
My Speedo housing cracked off. Anyone know where to get one(besides ebay) or cross reference a different one with the same mounting?

What model do you have, 250, 400, 600, 750, 900 or 1K? Your profile doesn't tell us much at all.

I replaced my ZL1000 tacho cup for $132.00 here in Oz but that was retail at the KHI dealer.
 
Sorry about that.. I have an 85 zl900...mostly stock except for jetting and D&D pipe
 
I have one or 2 extra's, very good to excellent condition, $40.00, and am in the Chicago Burbs.

According to my Zedder’s parts X-reference list, a replacement can be found on the following bikes (@ the wreckers or on here from those of us hording spares, not me :roll: ):

1. ’86/87 ZL600,
2. ’85/86 ZL900, and
3. ’87 ZL1000.

This is if it’s called Speedometer Socket Assembly (P/No 23008-1279). I couldn’t see anything else that would better fit the description.

Shlim1 appears to have an offer hard to refuse.
 
Thinking of getting a devise for synching carbs. There seems to be a nice one that uses aluminum in the UK seems like it might be more accurate. I know its cheap to do but I'm anal, like to do it myself, and neeeeeed just one more tool! Can't remember the name of the one on the UK as I'm not home right now. Bye
