Wow. And i thought New York City was bad. Just one question though -- how do you suppose they get all their crap home from Home Depot?

I'm always curious why businesses say things like "with a combined age of experience" when referring to their expertise in a particular field, it really is unnecessary and meaning-less.

I could have started a business last week, but employed 30 people that have experience in a similar field to my businesss for the last 2 years, so does that mean the business has 60 years experience in the particular field?

I think not. (I'm in a pedantic mood today).

"pedantic" what peaves me is the bike shops selling polished turds as 2005 model bikes when they were made in 1988.

So, why are there lots of grey (<'94) 250's being advertised as 2005 models?

Put simply, it's because bikeshops which specialise in selling grey-import bikes recognise that noobs know nothing, are easily impressed and are in a hurry to buy. That makes them easy to rip off. Legally, a vehicle in Australia came into existence when it first gained Australian compliance. Thus, it is perfectly legal for a CBR250R which rolled off the Honda production line sometime in 1988 to be advertised as a 2005-model bike.

Now that's just disshonest, pure and simple...
