1. Guest,
    We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

    Spare us the time and simply post what they think we should never eat again.

    If my guess is correct, I would probably end up starving to death if I eat what they want me to!

    I don't believe you would have watched it through to the end, if you thought it was a waste of time. people terminate visual media within the first 3 minutes if it doesn't hook them in!

    Thought it may be useful, food allergies and reactions to processed foods are doing a lot of harm out there particularly to males and leaky gut is a big problem as males usually stress internally and guess where a lot of the stress ends up in the digestive system!

    You right about people terminating things like that within the first 3 min.
    That’s why I asked a simple question of the information contained in it.
    If you can’t post a simple answer then we all know it’s a waste of time to even click on the link!

    So it basically goes like this.....

    Don't have desert for breakfast
    Don't eat snacks
    Eat healthily
    Eat lean protein
    Eat non-starchy veggies
    Swap milk for coconet milk
    Swap burger buns for leattuce leaves.
    Balh blah balh.

    I've got no idea how I manage to wipe my arse each day as I don't have a motivational speaker to point me in the right direction.

    Just about what I thought it would be.

    Maybe you can find a vid on you tube to help with your wiping woes, gotta be some nut job out there with a 30 min vid posted who thinks after thousands of years that we are in need of an improvement in that area as well, heck maybe you can find something to help all those people who suddenly found themselves in the new gender categories
    Not sure but if there are now more than 2 genders we might need new ways to whipe!

    Trouble is people generally do not take body metabolism and food input and allergies seriously!
    I didn't as much, till a few years ago and have relapses sometimes;
    She "dishes" Low fat diets, through Protein Lipid Protein cell membrane structure, the body needs fat; Lipid is a biological name for Fat! Most diets cause weight gain! But the right type of fat!
    That Sugar is a poison; Our teeth didn't rot that much before we ate raw sugar!
    Fresh farm shop food, not processed pre-packed stuff if you can help it; Free Range Meat, milk and eggs
    Avoid artificial sweeteners like the plague!
    be careful with your fruit intake especially fruit juices!
    The body is a "Chemistry Laboratory;
    Use a Food Journal;
    Leaky gut problem, Stress, Gluten, Fructose, GMO's, Pain medicines, can all add up!

    Learning how to avoid unpleasantness, caused through a badly designed diet, like Joint pain, Unclear foggy head, Tiredness, bloating and acidity;

    Remember my point, feeling crap, either stops you riding of puts you more at risk on the road!

    Be careful about your initial intake, that is obviously breakfast, break-fart if you get it wrong!

    High blood sugar Blood sugar over 90, 5 x Dementia rate!
    Snacking is bad for you as is a high carbohydrate diet, Heart disease, diabetes, cancer.
    Best carbohydrates those the body has to work hard to convert them to sugar!
    Balanced personal diet, body hormones respond well.
    Fasting body toxin cleanliness!
    Drink the right sort of Liquids, in between 3 1/2 - 6 pints a day!

    Would we do we put crap oil in our motorcycle engine?

    I will not see 60 again, so now I take these things more seriously!
    I can still ride 400 miles a day!

    So it’s my diet? Not the many injuries and surgeries over the years combined with rumatoid arthritis ?

    Please explain how my diet caused me to bust my knees and hips.

    Sorry to hear about your difficulties, but a new or improved diet and movement regime may possibly, help you for the future!

    I don't know you, your medical history, your Gene pool input and I didn't say anything, inferred personally to you!

    If any nations on Earth suffer bone malformations and disease it is the North Western seaboard of Europe the British isles and Ireland!

    Here in the British Isles and ireland, we generally have a relatively cool wet climate regime,(in World Climatic terms) a Maritime climate. If we dig skeletons up from 2,000 years ago the condition of the bones is generally good; from 1.500 years ago, for many its all together, another matter. There is a much greater incidence of bone deformation, Osteo-arthritis, the genetics of the people changed by maybe 30% through Germanic migrations 450AD, but more importantly sea level changes, caused a great loss of alluvial land for growing food and the climate deteriorated and got a lot wetter, this has been happening here, since the Neolithic period.

    Peoples diets changed too, probably, for the worse, hence a greater incidence in disease and possibility mortality also a much greater incidence in bone disease! wet, cold, worsening diet = disaster for the skeleton!

    You are what you eat & drink, in a physical way, combined with your genetics and how your body deals with the food input.

    What job do you do? This dictates food input and body wear and tear rates.

    Here, if you are wise you take care of your skeleton because of factors previously mentioned, cod-liver oil and perhaps supplements, B vitamins seem short in many people here!

    Your bones manufacture your blood and your blood is the feeder stream and the waste carrier, think of it as your "oil" flow and you will not be far wrong. So bones are absolutely crucial to good health because this impacts directly on your blood and the mechanics of how your body is bio-chemically built!

    Are you a big person, naturally? If so, then work out what weight you should be in the region of, take your weight down and them build it back up to the max, it is comfortable for movement and all the physical activity you will need.

    Do any foods or drinks make you feel crap, if so and you know it cut them out! Find out if you have any allergies.

    Do you smoke, if so give it up, this reduces your oxygen levels and pollutes and damages your inner organs and veins and arteries. Lungs and heart, cardio-vasculer system will depending on age, more rapidly when young or more slowly start to recover;

    Drink, if you drink alcohol, drink in moderation, other wise the liver is taxed for not apparent reason except to break down toxins from the booze.
    If you over-eat every organ in your body is working for no-reason, except to break excess food down;
    Do jump in the Truck, walk everywhere you can if time permits, avoid jogging full-tome or running on anything but grass, as joints cannot take the pounding they get!
    Find out from your "Family Tree", what thing you may be prone too?
    You could be unlucky with shi**y genes, but precautions can be taken.

    Surgeries and injuries are can be directly and indirectly attributed to an incorrect for a person, diet, through the physical body not being at or kept at its optimal best!took place

    If you are carrying too much weight, every organ in the body is overstressed, every bone and joint is likewise. This can be caused by eating too much, sluggish metabolism, or both or just eating bad foods!

    Plus your mental attitude to life is vital to trying to cope with and get the best of of it, exercising the brain in new interests and skills is paramount to keeping us "young" and top of our game for dealing with all the personal crap and more than often Governmental crap that comes our way!

    Avoid things that poison the mind. Politics, Porn, daily newspapers TV as much as possible!

    Live up to your Avatar name! Try to laugh i know for most of us there is not much to laugh at, but it does help.

    Believe in yourself, I have just spent the most difficult years of my life post my Wife's death, I am now entering 3 plus years I have had to draw on everything to find a reason to still be here, to get that inner fire back, it has been a tough call, but I found out eventually, what I am made out of!

    Other external factors have made Life more difficult too. My Country is in a bad state and this coupled with a recession in jobs and opportunities generally makes life harder. Personally, I cannot afford to be ill, we only get one body, that is the machine we have to work with so now I try and look after it by finally drawing on my latent intelligence to treat my body as I would my motorcycles!

    Having a belief system of some kind of faith in something out there helps too!

    I can't ride 400 miles now every day unless I really had too! I would have to have days off in between! I couldn't afford the fuel for one thing!

    Also discovered how bad cars are for your skeleton and posture as I do not use the car as much now and noticed its detrimental effects more.

    Hope this helps explain a few things!

    Just to put into context, what I experienced is realitively insignificant to my Grandparents and my Parents as children in the 1940s to a large extent. My paternal Grandfather fought in the first World War as what we would call a "Teenager" at Passchendaelle, then saw his country torn apart 1939-1945, his Wife, my Nanna, worked in a n armaments factory; My Maternal Grandfather, worked on the Coal face in the mines a Reserved occupation during the two World wars. My Maternal Grandmother lost a child to pneumonia. In Wartime something else must kick- in... maybe some of their toughness and resilience comes down through the genes? Compared to them I have had it easy, believe me!

    Trojan, I know your trying to help but geeze these are some long winded posts and like you stated earlier, 3 minutes of vid with no interest - gone. Much like a long post on a forum.

    People are going to live like they want, I'll bet all of us here are old enough to know of choices and consequences. Simply put, genetics, profession, lifestyle and external circumstances will determine how healthy and long our lives are.

    :hello: If something takes me more than a minute to read I pass on it. I get at least 8 E-mails a day of useless bull crap. It pisses me off. I unsubcribe from them & they just keep coming. I grew up in the 60s/70s. My Parents grew our food, milked our own cow, had our own chickens, one pig & one beef cow a year. Canned everything including deer meet. We hunted every type of wild game. We ate fresh fish almost every day in the Spring/Summer. My mother even made her own bread. Today you can't do that unless you have land & live in the Country. I don't ever remember being sick until I moved to FL in 1985. I don't buy food with fillers such as soy. Soy is not good for you. I was told it sissy-fies men. :laughing7:.

    Is that why we have all these cream puffs running around?

    I grew up eating good food myself. Still eat a decent balanced diet 95% of the time.
    Honestly have to be picky about my shopping because all the modified food they have actually doesn’t taste right.
