I have problems with my carb and like to know how many turns i have to give to the airjet needle ?

what is the measure for the valves .


the problem is that at first its runs fine like for 20 km an the after that it just stops , I wait like five minutes and it runs again .

please help

sounds like the bike is vapor locking on you. when this happens again open the gas cap or try riding with the cap open. If this solves your problem you can just remove the small plastic air valve inside the gas cap. Furchin

Yea it's a common problem, on the 900 i've had problems with the vent line getting clogged. let us know how it works out for ya

Definetly try the gas cap trick, you may have a bad valve as Furchin pointed out, or the vent line as Mark said.
AS for the valve clearance, there should be a sticker under the seat or somewhere on the bike with the spec printed on it. Mine did the same thing when I got it. Cleared the vent line and it got better, then started getting worse. Turned out to be bad intake valves. When you check the valve clearance, try to measure the clearance between the rocker arm and the spring retainer also. There isn't really a spec for this, but see if they are all close to the same reading. If one is greatly out of range with the others, you may be losing a valve.
