Coolant hoses

Does anyone know if you can get OEM coolant hoses from the dealer still? Does some other source have them cheaper, i.e. NAPA? How about from the source, like Gates? Anyone have input on this?

I would take them off and try and match them up at an
auto parts store.
I`ve noticed that some of the ZRX ones are close enough
to use but auto parts hoses would be much cheaper.

Yes, you can still get the oem hoses from a dealer, I replaced all of mine last winter. They are VERY EXPENSIVE though. I would try and do some searching around first. I'll try and get my reciepts out and give you prices in a day or two. Later.
 
Coolant hoses

I replaced all my coolant hoses with CoolFlex hose which resemble gas stove flex gas lines. It not only lets the bike run scads cooler, but you can shape and route them any way you want to, they're kinda pricey tho but way worth it.

Well, after digging through my reciepts, the closest I can tell is all the hoses will run in the ballpark of $100. I had other items that I ordered at the same time and unfortunately I have not figured out which ones were the hoses yet. I'll post more when I get time to look up the part numbers. Later.
 
Hoses

OK, here is what I bought and how much I was charged.

49054-1051 Thermostat $27.69

39062-1126 Hose $25.29
Bottom of radiator to the water pump.

39062-1127 Hose $11.38
Thermostat housing to the radiator.

39062-1128 Hose $25.29
Thermostat housing to the back of the engine.

39062-1072 Hose $9.67
Water pump pipe to horizontal pipe on engine.

These were all that were on this reciept and I think all that I replaced. These prices were from a local dealer. Total cost including tax was $110.08. Remember these hoses from the factory or dealer are "precurved" to fit the Eli's. Probably why they are so expensive. Hope that helps. Later.
 
There is a road in the city I work n that is famous for the exact same thing. Most of them are ditzy young girls who've married a yuppie and recently graduated from a civic to an excursion, talk about some scary ****!
