I PM'ed Ethan offering to take on the role of "moderator" to help him AND us , by trying to keep this place clean of crap.

Got a PM back from him saying "job done, you're now a moderator, welcome to the world of trying to beat the spammers"

He said he appreciates the offer of help.

I gather he's okay but busy outside of the 'net.

Ah well .. we'll see how we go, hopefully we'll be able to keep the rubbish to a minimum.

Yes, we are lucky to have all the experience available! I know that no matter what problem I encounter with my ZL, I can get lots of tips, heck, some of em actually work!!

So I got my M/S rear wheel - can't wait to get some time so I can mount it up! Hopefully, I'll have it on before "Roar to the Shore" @ Wildwood, NJ Sept 8th.

Can the M/S front wheel be used in the ZL forks? I only ask because the guy I bought the rear from has a matching front for sale - no rotors tho'. If the wheel will fit, could my ZL rotors/brakes be used?

What`s he want for the front rim?
I`m putting the Mean Streak back together as I may have a motor
for it soon.

Front wheel has no rotors and you'll need to have your MS bearings installed as the bearings that are in there now are for a smaller diameter axle.

He was going to put the wheels on his Vulcan, what are the chances the Vulcan's the same diameter axle as the ZL? Thing is, he already had the wheels powdercoated black - I'm going back and forth on if I want to strip the PC off or try to find another ZL front wheel & have that PC'd to match.

Do you know of any direct swaps for the front wheel?
Oh, I don't have a rear caliper - will my ZL rotor bolt up to the MS wheel?

I got the rear wheel for $200, if that helps any. The powdercoating is MUCH better in person than what that picture shows.

I`m bidding on a M/S wreck in two days(stuffed in front)
I`ll be selling off what I don`t need.
I`m keeping the motor,rear wheel and what`s left of the forks
and front end.
Your ZL cali prolly won`t work without major mods,better off
w/the 2 piston M/S cali.
I`ve got the jig for the cali mount extension which is the only
mod you need to bolt on the rear wheel.
If I get the front and you want to trade black for natural we could do
that.
