Sorry My Eli Is Gone

I had to sell her as I did not use her enough and I thought she should go to someone that can enjoy it more. I will still stop bye from time to time. As I want to make sure that Rocky and Ethan are behaving themselves. Sorry all but S$&T happens. Later.

Sorry to hear

Howzit Joker,

At least you're still riding something and that's cool. You always posted good info and I hope you do pop around. Take care and keep cool (keep on riding).

All the best,

SnakeDoctor

I sure am sorry to hear about that bud. I guess I'll just have to get mine back together now, come up there and run circles around around you on that hog :wink:

I hope this doesn't mean you're going to disappear completely... You know you are still welcome at any time here!

Ethan

NOT GOOD BYE

Hey Josh;

I've said this to ya before but it deserves repeating.
I've really appreciated all of the knowledge and assistance you bring here.
Not to mention all the laughs.
Look Buddy, why don't you just put a big Kawi decal on the side of that Hog and all will be forgiven. :lol:
Thanks Joker;

ZZR CVK40 carbs on a ZRX !
Well Purge a ZRX owner, doesn't like being told it can't be done.
This is part of a thread on their site.

"Works fine, gained me 2 to 4 bhp through the rev range over the srtndard 36mm carbs.

You can't use the standard airbox or the TPS (no loss junking that).
You need it set up on a dyno as the correct settings aren't obvious.
You need the ZZR airbox plate with cut down rubber trumpets on which to fit the K&Ns.
You need the ZZR inlet manifolds.
You need to file a small chunk from your petrol tap.
You need ZZR1100C or D carbs with the de-restricted tops."

Now they tell me that you can't fit semi-downdraught carbs on an Eli ?!
:stir:

There's always someone that will tell you that something can't be done. They'll probably still say it after it's been shown to them.

Hi ACP,
I think there may be one or two people having a little look at this in the near future. :detective:

I think the determining factors will be clearing the frame, and then the petrol tap !

Will just have to wait and see for the moment - have'nt got a set of CVKs lying around - unfortunately !

That petrol tank you liked the look of on Marks ZL9 is a new type Z1000, maybe the 750 would also do ?

LOL,
Vin :whax:
