Another cam chain question

Has anyone ever had a tensioner or any other timing component get so bad that it came apart? Anyone ever busted a case? I know that these make a lot of noise when the tensioner gets weak and the guides get worn. Just wondering as mine is starting to make noise.

YEP! i dont understand why people are getting rid of them ! i told my with the other day, if i won the lottery, or struck it rich, i would buy as many zl's i could, then my garage would have to be added onto, for just my zl's. CHRIS
