Can you recommend a Battery Tender

I've been looking at battery tenders and there seem to be several models and brands on the market. Ideally, i'd like one to hook to both of my bikes, but i really don't mind switching from one to the other every weekend.

Anyone have any recommendations? Models you like, or models to stay away from?

Joe, I use a battery tender on all three of my Eli's. Two of the chargers are Battery Tender Jr.'s and one is Bell. I have nothing but praise for all of these. the Price was relatively the same for all of them.
WWW.MAWONLINE.COM had the Battery tender JR for $19.95 when I bought them. You have to pay shipping of about $7.00 apiece though. The Bell Tender I bought at Wal-Mart for the same price but no shipping so it ends up being a better deal price wise. The difference is that the Battery Tender model carries a 5 year warranty and the Bell unit I could not verify a warranty at all. You choose but I highly recommend one if you want to prolong your battery life and ensure that it cranks over every time. Happy Holidays, Martin aka Furchin

I almost wish i had the same problem with this as you guys as it would mean I had my bike going. Still suffering with getting the parts for mine. :cry: Should be Feb or March and things will all be here though. :lol:

Hey Joe, Had my Battery Tender for Almost 6 Years With No Problems, And Like Furchin said You can have one Tender Take Care of up to 3 Batterys With the Multible Leads, Nice Thing is they have The Quick Connect , Plug it in and Forget It, I do take the Battery out in the Winter and Bring it Inside Though, Later Rocky :twisted:
 
Hey, thanks. Advice is appreciated, as always. I had thought about bringing the batteries inside too, but i like to start 'em up and let 'em idle for about 15 minutes each weekend. My mechanic said it's a good idea and, regardless, i just like to hear 'em running. Makes the winter go by faster.

Martin, let me know when you make plans to motor south. We could ride west from F-burg into the blue ridge mts for a nice day.

By the way, saw a hallmark card with Snoopy riding a bike...it said "this year, be a rebel...have a happy christmas and a merry new year"

I just bought one at walmart, black and decker for $17. We'll see how long it lasts.
