1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

I would not get anything but genuine keihin jets. no knock off china jets for me and who would need the 40-50 size even if they were sized correct.

:hello: I'd say away from CHINA made jets. Some are not true to be the correct sizing so I was told. Rick West should be able to tell us on what brand of jets that are best. I mostly stick to the brand that the carbs come with. KEYSTER jets are a good choice. :notworthy:. That and any other jets that are made in JAPAN.

Keihin stuff seems difficult if not impossible to find, I had never come across this make before! They are available from 72 to 180!

:hello: All jets for the ZLs are available from KAW. Most of the ZLs use the same carb parts. Also most bike shops sell jets not including Dealers.

I hope you don't discover the hard way that you generally get what you pay for. Personally, I will always go with OEM.

:hello: TROJAN: Don't you have a KAW Dealer near you. I don't know what it is with K&L parts. It's been a hit and a miss with me.

I've not had any issues with K&L products. At least it has a formed bowl gasket.
