1. Guest,
We need good tech writers that are willing to help out here at ZL-OA. If you like taking photos of jobs as you perform the steps on your repairs, have historical ads/documents from old magazines, or any else you think belongs in the Technical Library than you might be able to help. Send a private message to Furchin, Mudrunner88, Chris, Jarney, Wuputt, or Markus56 and we can lead you in the right direction to get started.

I don't like the front end on most modern bikes, looks like a "swatted insect face", some of the rear/back ends aren't that good either!

I think they went overboard with the naked bike styling
but that 03 - 06 Z1000 looks to be the best looking years

They are a fair bit more $ than the yamaha 900, there would have to be some serious consideration to the triple.

I like the retro Z900RS and the cafe model.

For the others, just as I have told everyone of my friends. If you pull into my driveway with one of those things that are trying to do a dearth Vader, transformer like imitation or a Harley, I will shoot it and put it out of its misery! Then use my back hoe to dig a hole and bury it.

Sorry but this modern styling isn’t style to me.

This XSR900 is the one that specs out close to the RS. 5 more hp and $1500-$2000 cheaper than the kaw depending on se or cafe edition. The new Honda is $1000 more than the kaw but comes in at 145hp, they started to get away from the wasp look but didn't go too retro on that.

The kaw is the best looking of the bunch and hp wars don't mean much on this style bike but it is refreshing to see a choice that does not include an ugly headlight and ass in the air stinger rear end.

    Nice Connie! What year?
I am considering a sport tour but I'm short and they seem a bit much for a dd/commuter.

Surely Kaw can build a ujm with the connie powerplant. Something long and low with a round headlamp.

May the new one provide you with over 30 years of service like your last bike did!
