'86 ZL900 For Sale

Have a buddy he has an 86 900 for sale. About 500.00 needs a set of rings and a head gasket is missing 1 chome side cover he gave up on parts searching.

The bike was running until a the rings. Contact me and I will try to hook you up.

It is in Cincinnati, Ohio USA as you would probably have to come get it. It has a clean title.

Do you have any pictures of it? I'm in Columbus and can easily pick it up with my motorcycle trailer. $500 for a parts bike probably isn't a bad deal.

No picture. he fixes bikes all the time buys cheap fixes small stuff. He picked it up earlier this year. He has been coming in the shop for years
and we make keys to bikes for him. He just sold 19 bikes last year.

The last of which was a Honda Shadow Aero.

I know it's purple in color.

I know he did ride it becuase the streets were a little wet and he about lost it from the torque of the shaft. he just got ahold of me last Saturday. To see if I wanted it or knew someone who did.

Why doesn't he go ahead and fix it up and get more money for the bike? I would probably use it for parts since I've never pulled a motor before. How many miles are on the bike?

He said about 26,000 or so. He fixes bikes all the time doesn't want to mess with it anymore. Has a too full plate.

He was trying to find parts and they are not easy so I guess he gave up on it.

But for 500.00 it is worth it just for parts or fix yourself. I don't need another project myself.

Too many irons in the fire already or I would have picked it up, since he works right across the street.

It's a scary thought, but, there will be a new little moab in the world, my lovely wife Rachel and I found out that we will indeed be having a little moab jr. and the due date is now January 1st, 2008....So look out world for one more!!!!!!

Congrats Moab, thats great. Jan 1.. oh hell, thats only 21 weeks away... You gotta start painting and decorating, quick, before Rachel makes you, brownie points are harder to earn when she has a bump... Then theres shopping for buggies, and nests, and cribs, and bottle warmers, and sterilisers, and .....

You'll be fine!!! lol, enjoy every second of it Moab, another few weeks and you'll see an amazing sight, things moving in Rachels tummy. I will never forget that with our two, I used to rush home from work just to watch carols bump!!! knees n elbows moving across inside, awsome...
