Magazine article

Hello all,
Just thought I would let everyone know if you don't already. Our beloved Eliminator has made it into a magazine again. There is an article in the April issue of "Rider" magazine. The article is in the back of the magazine in the "Retrospective" section - about 1 1/2 pages on our Eliminator. I'll scan the article sometime this week or weekend. Just thought I would let you know in case anyone wants to read it. Later.

OK guys,
I've got the article scanned. The file sizes of the 2 pages are big so if Rocky doesn't mind, I'll try to get them to him on a disk or something next time I'm in town - as he has a high speed internet connection (lucky dog) and my dial up is like watching paint dry. Later.
 
Motorcyclist Injured After Hitting Bathtub on Louisiana Interstate

COVINGTON, La. —

A boxed bathtub fell from the bed of a pickup truck and slid into a motorcyclist’s path Saturday, critically injuring the 72-year-old rider, Louisiana State Police said.

Charles S. Warren was thrown from his motorcycle when it hit the bathtub, and was being treated at St. Tammany Parish Hospital, according to a news release from Trooper Louis Calato.

He said the motorcycle, the box and the bathtub all ended up in the grass median of Interstate 12.

The pickup’s driver, Shain Autumn, 32, of Springfield, was booked with negligent injury and driving with an unsecured load, Calato said.

Whats the chances of that happening? :pale:

It just goes to show - we can be as carefull and considerate as we like and still get creamed by some pratts negligence / incompetence.
