250 eliminator

Thanks, lots of good pics there i guess they are the same the world over, i did learn something i did not know they have been around since 1985 i thought they had a ninja motors i guess ninjas have eliminator motors. To bad they are plentiful every where but here. What is the price of fuel in Oz? Here in Ohio its 3.20 a gallon a little less than 4 liters. My 500 ninja gets 65 mpg running gas this damn 10% ethanol mix it drops to 59. I think you can stretch those 250 ninja motors to 80+ if you dont wring there necks all the time. I think i found a non runner to work on, i sure would like to find a nice one.

I'm curious at to what music tastes/bands/artists you guys and gals like to listen to, either in general or whilst riding.

I'm into metal/hard rock, always have been, it started with "Black Sabbath" when I was young, but progressed to "Ozzy Osbourne" later. Now i'm listening to "Evanescence" (own both albums "Fallen" and the latest "The Open Door"), but I've been known to listen to anything from Van Halen (I own ALL their albums), The Offspring, Mike Oldfield, James Taylor (folk/country), The Alan Parsons Project, AC/DC, Silverchair (aussie band), System of the Down, Iron Maiden, Guns & Roses, Pink Floyd, Powderfinger (aussie band), Audioslave, Creed, to name a few.

So, what do you get into?

Mick.

I do something of everything....Except rap....I really like classic country lately, especially Johnny Cash, I have 15 Cash albums, including 3 on vinyl...But I will listen to just about anything...
moab...

I'm not big on country / western, but I do like Hank Williams Snr, some Charley Pride (shutters and boards) and Don Williams, and I am a little bit partial to a couple of Aussie country/folk singers, mainly John Williamson (mainstream) and Pat Drummond (pub singer).

I detest "rap" type music, with the rare exception of Eminem, only because some of the lyrics of his songs are amusing. I only hear his songs on the radio/tv and I don't own any of his cd's, etc.

Oh, I forgot, I like the popular "No1" chart hit songs from "The Beatles", Creed and Peter Gabriel too.

80's heavy metal
country

honestly, i listen to anything but " RAP " " I HATE THAT SH-T !!!!!!"

...so it seems the consensus so far, is primarily a mixture of country/western and hard rock/heavy metal, with a bit of current mainstream popular music thrown in for good measure, interesting...

The only reason I asked is, I find it interesting that people of similar tastes in bikes, have similar tastes in other areas too, no matter what country or part of the planet you come from.

The internet, is in my opinion, has given the greatest gift ever given to mankind by anyone, by means of bridging the ideological differences of people all over the world and by using discussion forums like this and by actively interacting with each other over a common interest, we find that we are not all that different after all (I'm feeling a little down today, as I'm going to the doctors this afternoon, to find out about some blood tests I had done late last week, they found blood in my urine and I'm a little worried).

Mick.

mick, Good luck with the dr. hope all works out well for you!

As far as music goes, I primarily enjoy the 70's and 80's rock. I do like some of the new stuff but am sick of hearing the same song 25 times in a day ( mostly american idol contestants)!

Nothin beats some of the old Steppenwolf, ZZ Top, Bad Co., Quiet Riot, Billy Thorpe...............
