You know, it's a sad shame when you know it's a joke, but then on second thought, you also know damn well that our president is definitely capable of such a remark.

However, since this is a motorcycle board, and not a political one, I want to go on record to say that I think our next president should ride a Kawasaki Eliminator in the inaugural parade.
 
He will probably think an Eliminator is some kind of death squad. :lol:

hello. i just joined and posted in the new member sticky if anyone wants to read up some of my modifications, a couple are very unique(such as a 5 gallon buel cyclone tank). i'm having some concerns though, which i'll try to post one at a time...first, horrible throttle response! the bike runs perfect, starts right up, etc, and accelerates fine under light acceleration but when i yank the throttle back the engine responds like i need to downshift two or three gears, acting as if i were in sixth gear goin 15 miles an hour or something. no coughing, no sputtering, just...no power. could this be from pod filters not being re-jetted? i won't be able to get in contact with the seller for some time(he's in italy) to ask him. K&N pods, stock pipes btw. simplified, the bike runs perfect until i ask for a lot of power, then it comes on weak and takes forever to amount to anything. thanks, let me know.
 
Welcome sjd, I checked out your pics, saw this bike on e-bay, looks are trick for sure! I would start with pulling the carbs and checking the jets, probably didnt get tuned right when the pods were installed. Good luck!
 
yea sounds like jetting isn't right. check out factorypro for jets/needles. Could be running very lean. Stock mainjet will be stamped with the "k" for keihn and a 125. If you decide to buy a jet kit I recommend factorypro found in the weblink section.
 
thanks again all. any concensus on the best main jet size? 132? 136? any adjustments to the pilot jets? apologies for repeat topics, i'll be contributing to the site as soon as i get the bike back with pics of the ness tear drop(black is sharp!) mirrors and avon tire pics.
 
You need to chat with Andrew, we just talked about main jet size i think he is at 148 and up one size on the pilot.

Another advantage of the factorypro kit is no slide drilling is required.
