Side cover Mods

Purchased heavy SS mesh to fabricate custom pod side covers...will be a combination of mesh and solid SS which will provide a shroud over top of the outer pods to keep rain/ moisture from direct access and protect the pod from being losened by rider's leg.... the overall shape is nearly identical to the stock cover permitting a view of the pods from the side through the mesh.......pics to follow..hopefully I won't have too much trouble uploading...Ethan be advised......Later Boys Elimi-blurr

Get polishing. Polish enough and the original aluminium comes up like chrome. That what I've done with mine when the water started getting underneath the laquer. I've removed ALL the laquer on ALL the aluminium on my 1000. It's a hell of a lot of work but ..Hell..it is worth it. Shines like a good 'un
