Eliminator Trike

Hello all,
Been working tons of overtime and been real busy here latley. Just got a new computer and am still trying to get it set up. I just posted an article/pic in my album that I found in Popular Mechanics magazine of a trike called the Eliminator made by a company called Eliminator Trikes here in the USA. Check it out. I think it's worthy of the Eliminator name although it's a little pricey. Later.

:D DOES ANYONE HAVE OR KNOW WHERE I CAN LAY MY HANDS ON THE TRIM THAT FITS AROUND THE PETROL TANK SEAM(BOTTOM) MINES BEEN DAMAGED IN THE PAST AND WOULD LIKE TO RPLACE IT,JUST FINISHES THE TANK OF....... :detective: ANDY
 
I think halfords carry that stuff andy, a rubbery "U" channel stuff that fits over the edge of car doors... (tip, put it into boiling water for a few mins before fitting it, makes it conform to the bends easier) Also, make sure theres no bare metal on the tank seam before you it that stuff, water can lodge in the U trim, and if you got bare metal, you will get rust problems, I spose you could silicone it on? You just reminded me, I must get some for mine!!!

I used bog standard Oxford screen trim for mine, it's pre-glued and slides straight on. You can choose your colour as well. I went for the satin black to keep it with the bike's colour. Unlike a guy I know who put chrome trim around his tank. He likes it but I don't, personal preference I guess.

OMG!!! :pale: Deffo not my taste either!!

..... almost relevant story... A guy that lives a few miles from me, bought a new metalic black audi A4... 50,000 euro car. Within a few weeks, he had been to aldi and bought a few packs of "stick on" chrome trim and let loose on this beautiful car... I couldnt believe it when I saw it. aroung the tail lights, door edges, front grille.... god awful.
I noticed this weekend just passed, he bought chrome windscreen wiper blades.... a guy like him needs a slap or two....
 
The guy I know has a gloss black bike with metal flakes in the clear-coat. and he's then put chrome trim around the tank and the filler tank.

And it's on an Eli 750, that parks next to mine at work... (He's a member on here, but he rarely logs in)
